COVID-19 Update; 07/09/21
The State’s declaration of emergency relating to the COVID 19 pandemic has ended. There is no longer a requirement in the Mobile County Government Center Annex that a person who has not been fully vaccinated wear a face covering while in the building. Nevertheless, the CDC and other medical experts strongly recommend that if a person has not been fully vaccinated for COVID 19 said person should wear a face covering when interacting with other persons. This is important to help prevent the spread of the virus. It is not being reported by the CDC that most of the persons being hospitalized for COVID were not vaccinated. Additionally, there has been a significant amount of news this week that there is a new variant of the virus – called the “Delta Variant” and there are reports of persons who have been fully vaccinated contracting the Delta Variant of the virus. The Court strongly encourages everyone to be mindful of their health and the health of the persons they interact with and we strongly encourage all persons who have not been fully vaccinated to wear a face covering when they are interacting with other persons.
